These babies are by far our most popular items! As the title implies, these are Love Spell Witch Bottle necklaces to keep close to you all the time or as often as you’d like! I love to make these, and I love to make my customers happy.
They certainly do take a lot of time and energy to make, though. I always start with prayers for protection and intentions (which, in this case, would be for the wearer to have their love) as I enter this heightened spiritual state. I light my sage and palo santo and cleanse all materials that need cleansing, including utensils. Then the magic begins!
After placing my little bottle, already with the metal wire (which will attach to the dainty chain) around the bottle’s neck, in my self-made witch-bottle-holding-receptacle, I begin the spell. To keep my practices private, I’ll keep what I chant to myself, but know that I am always chanting as I fill the bottle with the specially curated ingredients:
- organic sugar – to attract others and bring in happiness
- pink Himalayan salt – to protect relationships, promotes love
- red rose petals – passion, physical attraction, divine love
- lavender – for healing, love
- rose quartz – stone of love, emotional healing, trust, reawakens heart chakra
Then I close my bottle and light my pink candle (pink candles are specifically used for love spells), and proceed to melt the wax over the top of the bottle to seal it. I say my closing chants and prayers, and now the spell is finished. I typically take some time to rest, usually a 5 minute minimum, where I drink plenty of water. This is necessary because performing spells, magic, divination, witchcraft, etc., takes some real energy from you, so I’m always sure to take the time I need to rest. Then, I assemble the chain portion of the necklace.
This is the easy part, measuring and cutting the chain with my jewelry pliers and assembling the clasps and jump rings that tie the whole thing together!
